Dans la turbulence de mes incertitudes, je me suis plong\u00e9 dans la lecture des livres. Tout ce qui tombait dans mes mains, je ne pouvais, ni ne savais choisir \u00e0 ce stade ! Heureusement que j\u2019avais un fr\u00e8re a\u00een\u00e9 (non pas celui cit\u00e9 plus haut !) et une s\u0153ur qui lisaient \u00e9norm\u00e9ment et me procuraient, sans le savoir, mon domaine de pr\u00e9dilection : l\u2019\u00e9vasion \u00e0 travers la lecture. Malgr\u00e9 l\u2019exigu\u00eft\u00e9 de notre \u00ab demeure \u00bb, je trouvais partout des livres \u00e9pars que je d\u00e9vorais sans grande compr\u00e9hension ! Il y avait aussi un appareil phonographique, qui faisait la fiert\u00e9 de notre petite soci\u00e9t\u00e9, et qui me permettait l\u2019initiation \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute des tous premiers groupes populaires tels Nass El GHiwane, Jil Jilala, Lamchaheb et autres Taggada, Hassada\u2026Les grands classiques arabes et occidentaux \u00e9taient pris\u00e9s \u00e0 la maison. J\u2019en profitais au maximum !<\/p>\n

En passant au cycle du secondaire, j\u2019avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 lu et acquis \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de connaissances sur les grands auteurs fran\u00e7ais, sur les styles musicaux aussi bien nationaux qu\u2019\u00e9trangers. Mon parcours scolaire jusque-l\u00e0 sans \u00e9pines, va souffrir d\u2019une fatale d\u00e9cision dont je ne suis nullement responsable !<\/p>\n

Mes fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs voyaient en moi l\u2019enfant prodige qui pourrait r\u00e9ussir ce qu\u2019ils n\u2019ont pas pu r\u00e9aliser par eux-m\u00eames. Etant donn\u00e9 qu\u2019ils \u00e9taient oblig\u00e9s de quitter l\u2019\u00e9cole afin d\u2019aider notre brave m\u00e8re \u00e0 subvenir \u00e0 nos besoins. J\u2019aurai toujours de l\u2019admiration pour ma m\u00e8re d\u2019abord et pour mes fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs ensuite.<\/p>\n

Mes incertitudes n\u2019avaient pas cess\u00e9 pour autant ! Entre dix-huit et vingt-deux ans, je m\u2019\u00e9tais vu enr\u00f4l\u00e9, sans le savoir, dans l\u2019engrenage des obscurantistes qui envahissaient notre quartier comme une gangr\u00e8ne. Je ne jurais que par eux, oubliant que la seule v\u00e9rit\u00e9 vient du seul Dieu et de notre Saint proph\u00e8te !<\/p>\n
